Supermassive black holes are believed to be present at the centers of most galax ies. There is evidence that they play a major role in the formation and evolutio n of galaxies and the ways they acquire their masses have many consequences on t he nuclear environment and on the overall structure of the galaxy (see Merrit (2 006)). One growth mechanism of black holes which has received serious considerat ion is the adiabatic growth mechanism. This mechanism promotes additional conser ved quantities that constrain the evolution of the cluster and lead to testable predictions on the distribution and kinematic of stars in the vicinity of the bl ack hole. In this thesis we will use the water-bag model revisited by Ghantous (2007) to a llow for a point mass to grow adiabatically at the center of spherical isotropic water-bag equilibria and try to reproduce Young's cusp (see Young (1980)). Usin g this method we will try to study the effects of initial anisotropy on the resu lting cusp. As we will see later the stellar density rises in the vicinity of th e black hole thus gravitational encounters between stars become important; usin g this bag model we will try to mimic collisional effects and compare with previ ously published results.
